Use agents to brief calls and plan YouTube ideas

She used Lindy to research discovery meetings and brainstorm YouTube content, while a more complex content process stayed in Make.

What they did
She copied Lindy’s sales-call prep template and treated it as a simple automation, not a full agent workflow. The setup looks for calendar items tied to discovery calls, gathers background on the attendee from LinkedIn, Crunchbase, and the open web, and emails her a short briefing before the meeting starts. Separately, she built a YouTube helper in Lindy that combined YouTube scraping, web browsing, Notion, and AI writing features to generate ideas and scripts.
How it went
The meeting-prep automation began working right away. But when she tried to rebuild her Make.com and Airtable content system in Lindy, it kept failing and burning through credits, so she left it on Make. The credit cost also made her cautious about relying on the YouTube helper.
Tips
Lindy’s free tier and $50/month tier can run out of credits quickly, especially if premium actions are involved. For anything that sends mail or changes content, make sure the agent pauses for approval first.

Try it yourself with Lindy

Create two automations for me in [tool]. First, when a calendar event includes [keyword], look up the attendee(s) with [LinkedIn], [Crunchbase], and web search [number] minutes beforehand, then email me a short prep note with their job title, company, recent updates, and [3] questions I can ask. Second, on a [weekly] schedule, research [topic] for YouTube, collect possible video angles, and draft [number] outlines or scripts. Before the system sends, publishes, deletes, or otherwise commits anything, stop and show me a sample for approval.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
