Build a spreadsheet-based outreach drafter in Lindy

A reviewer used Lindy to turn contact rows into draft tweets, then reviewed each draft before anything was sent.

What they did
Woody Hayday put together a small outreach flow in Lindy as a test run for a future marketing agent. He connected a trigger, a research step that used a wrapped search prompt with structured output, a step to add rows to Google Sheets, and a Slack notification. After that, he removed the writing step from the loop and adjusted the setup so it produced drafts instead of posting directly.
How it went
The agent was ready in minutes and produced the spreadsheet he wanted. It did save to the Drive root rather than the folder he picked, and figuring out loop behavior was difficult.
Tips
Lindy asks for a lot of Google access at setup, so review permissions before you connect it. If you use triggers such as email, add filters first or it may process and bill for every incoming item.

Try it yourself with Lindy

Set up an outreach agent in Lindy using my contact spreadsheet at [link or file name]. Each row contains [name, handle, company, notes, or other columns]. Find the contacts I have not reached out to yet, gather any useful context from their row, and write a short draft tweet or message in [tone]. Do not send, post, or delete anything. Instead, save each draft for my review and wait for my approval before marking that contact as completed. Pause and ask me before making any irreversible change, including sending, submitting, or deleting.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
