What they did
A Reddit user quoted by Luke Shepard fed Claude Code a reading passage, the class level, a vocabulary list, and the skills they wanted students to practice. Claude Code then assembled a single HTML lesson file that included flip-style vocabulary cards, comprehension checks, multiple-choice items, text-entry fields, a teacher view, and progress markers. The teacher opened the file on a laptop or smartboard and used it directly in class.
How it went
The teacher said this cut out hours they had been spending each week on worksheets, slide decks, and reading tasks. The account does not give measured results or a detailed example of the lesson output.
Tips
This works best when you give the model the exact passage, audience level, vocabulary, and learning goals up front. If you want a file you can use immediately, ask for a single self-contained HTML page and make it wait for approval before any file changes outside the target lesson file.

Try it yourself with Claude Code

Create one self-contained HTML lesson for [student level] using this reading passage: [paste passage]. Cover these vocabulary words: [word list]. Focus on these goals: [goals]. Include flip cards for vocabulary, comprehension questions with instant feedback, multiple-choice items, short text-entry responses, a teacher mode, and visible progress markers. Keep everything in one HTML file named [filename].html. Before making any irreversible changes or saving over an existing file, show me the plan and ask for approval. Do not edit any other files until I confirm.
