Turn a newsletter into a LinkedIn carousel
A newsletter writer used Claude Code to turn newsletter text or links into a branded LinkedIn carousel in minutes.
- What they did
- Wyndo made a Claude Code skill that keeps brand details in a config file, including colors, fonts, a logo, and a real photo. When given either pasted copy or a newsletter link, it breaks the material into slides and creates HTML and CSS using one of three layout templates. After that, they save the slides from the browser, turn the images into a PDF with ILovePDF, and post it to LinkedIn.
- How it went
- A test carousel made from a Substack Note became six matching slides in about three minutes. Earlier tries did not hold up: PowerPoint output looked plain, and Nano Banana Pro produced uneven layouts and the wrong face.
- Tips
- This skill is limited to paid Maker Labs members. If you are doing it by hand, expect the first run to take about 15 to 30 minutes.
Try it yourself with Claude Code
Help me build a reusable Claude Code skill that takes either a newsletter URL or pasted newsletter text and turns it into a 5-10 slide LinkedIn carousel in HTML and CSS. Store my brand settings in a config file with [hex colors], [font name], [logo file], and [photo description]. Use one of three slide templates, split the content into clear slides, then show me the finished HTML/CSS for [newsletter URL or pasted text]. Before any export, upload, send, publish, or other irreversible step, stop and ask me to confirm.
