Run Claude Code to build a coded animated musical

They let Claude Code work almost entirely on its own to keep creating and refining a fully coded animated musical.

What they did
They launched Claude Code with permissions skipped, which gave it broad access to their computer. On that machine, the agent kept rendering and improving a fully programmatic animated musical that had grown to more than 500,000 lines of code. The process ran around the clock with very little direct oversight.
How it went
They say they have not seen any security problems yet and describe the convenience as extreme. Even so, they expect the setup could be compromised eventually, and the source does not say how complete, good, or expensive the musical was.
Tips
If you try this, keep in mind that skipping permissions gives the agent full desktop access. Use a setup you can afford to lose, and make the agent pause for your approval before any payment, deletion, or submission step.

Try it yourself with Claude Code

In a fresh folder, create a fully coded animated musical about [premise]. Generate the music, characters, scenes, and animation from code, then render the result to a video file. Start with one complete song and one scene, then improve the project in [number] rounds by adding [example improvements]. After each round, stop and ask me to approve the next step before you do anything irreversible, including paying for anything, deleting files, or submitting final output. When you finish or reach the limit, summarize what changed and explain how to render the latest version.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
