Run Cowork like a daily office assistant

One commenter used Claude Cowork on a schedule to collect meeting context, surface open chat items, and turn them into a daily plan.

What they did
They set Claude Cowork to wake up at set times across the day and let it pull from Google Drive, Confluence, Slack, Krisp.ai transcripts, five connected apps, two custom MCPs, and two custom skills. In the morning, it scanned the day’s meetings and stitched together an agenda from those sources. At later check-ins, it looked for unresolved Slack messages and meeting next steps, then turned them into reminders with due dates.
How it went
They called the setup invaluable and said it ran reliably every day for them. The catch was that the scheduled jobs only happened while their computer stayed on. Their run times were 8:30am, 1pm, and 5pm.
Tips
If you want to copy this, choose times when your computer will definitely be awake. Let the agent prepare agendas and follow-ups, but review anything that would send, submit, or delete before it acts.

Try it yourself with Claude Cowork

Act as my personal executive assistant. Check my [calendar, documents, chat threads, and transcripts] at [8:30am / 1pm / 5pm] and help me prepare for the day. For the first run, list today’s meetings and build an agenda from anything relevant; for later runs, find unfinished Slack items and meeting follow-ups, then turn them into reminders with due dates. Give me a prioritized list plus any draft notes or replies, and stop for my approval before you send, submit, delete, or change anything irreversible. If the computer must stay on for this to work, tell me that clearly.
