Turn your site into a WhatsApp support bot

An n8n workflow turns a business website into a WhatsApp agent that answers questions and books calls.

Done with n8n· Intermediate· Jan 2026

What they did
They used n8n to take a business URL, crawl the site, and build a knowledge base from the pages. That base then powered a WhatsApp support bot that replied to customer messages and moved interested people toward booked calls. A person only had to provide the starting link and check the first version before it went live.
How it went
The setup was finished in about 10 minutes. After that, replies came back in seconds instead of taking hours.
Tips
Keep the bot limited to the site content so answers stay consistent. Before turning it on, test a few common questions and make sure the booking path works.

Try it yourself with n8n

Create an n8n workflow that takes [business website URL], reads the site content into a knowledge base, and uses that knowledge to answer incoming WhatsApp messages about [products/services]. If a person is interested in booking, ask for confirmation first, then offer [calendar link] and record the lead in [CRM or spreadsheet]. Before you turn anything on, show me the extracted knowledge base, a sample of 5 test questions with draft replies, and wait for my approval before sending messages, booking calls, or saving leads.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
