Turn RSS news into WordPress posts with n8n

They used n8n to pull recent RSS items, turn selected stories into AI articles with metadata and images, and publish them to WordPress.

Done with n8nยท Intermediate

What they did
They set up a scheduled n8n flow that checked RSS news from the past day, kept only items tied to their niche, and passed those stories into an AI writing step. That step produced a headline, opening, main sections, closing, and SEO details, then another step made a featured image. The workflow sent the post to the WordPress API, marked it for publishing, and saved the topic, date, and link in a log.
How it went
The workflow did not come with any traffic or output totals. They said the main problems were bland articles, repeat posts, and weak SEO.
Tips
Keep a log to block repeats and require a fixed structure so the output stays on topic. If you use a similar setup, leave it as a draft until you check for duplication and quality first.

Try it yourself with n8n

You are helping me build an n8n workflow. Pull items from [RSS feeds related to my niche] from the last [time window], skip anything already recorded in [my log or sheet], and draft an original blog post with a clear headline, intro, sectioned body, closing, SEO title, meta description, and featured image based on [my angle]. Stop before any irreversible action and ask me to approve the post before you publish, submit, send, or delete anything. After approval, save the post to [WordPress or other CMS] and record [topic, date, and URL] in my log.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
