Automate free game posts in WordPress

They used n8n to watch game giveaway sources, enrich each listing, and send the finished post into WordPress.

Done with n8n· Advanced

What they did
They built a scheduled n8n automation that scans giveaway pages from Epic, Prime Gaming, and Steam for free titles. It removes duplicates, then uses a self-hosted Browserless setup to fetch missing blurbs, images, and expiration dates before saving each new game in NocoDB. From there, the flow prepares a WordPress entry by API, attaches the featured image, and gets it ready to go live. FluentCRM handles subscriber email alerts afterward.
How it went
The project launched after roughly five days of part-time work, with just a few hours spent on it each day. The author later added AI-generated game sheets, but source-link collection for those sheets was still unfinished.
Tips
This approach relies on n8n, Browserless, NocoDB, FluentCRM, and WordPress working together. A safe version should always pause on a draft for review before any post or email is sent out.

Try it yourself with n8n

Build an n8n workflow that runs on [schedule], looks for newly free games on [Epic Games Store, Prime Gaming, Steam], and gathers each game’s title, short description, image, expiry date, and store URL. Keep a record of each new game in [NocoDB], then prepare a [WordPress] post with the image attached and the content ready for review. Do not send, publish, or email anything until you show me a sample and I approve it. If any fields are missing, use [Browserless or another browser automation tool] to visit the source and fill them in. After one test run, report which games were found, what data you completed, and what still needs checking.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
