Track exercise and eating logs in separate sheets

A developer made an agent that saves workout and nutrition updates from chat into different spreadsheets and can later review them.

Done with Custom agent· Advanced· Apr 2026

What they did
They worked for five months on one central agent tied to two spreadsheet-based tools, with one used for training and the other for nutrition. Messages arrived through WhatsApp using an API, and a “get rows” step ran before the agent so the right records could be fetched or written for whoever sent the message. For larger-scale review, they planned to use an n8n AI agent node connected to the user’s vectorized data.
How it went
The setup had not been finished yet. The developer said tracking was still incomplete, and sleep, psychological tracking, and a combined body score were still planned.
Tips
A sender check before the agent sees spreadsheet data can reduce mix-ups and privacy issues. If you extend this kind of system, make approval explicit before any sheet structure changes go live.

Try it yourself with Claude Code

Build me a health tracking agent that uses [training sheet link] for workout logs and [nutrition sheet link] for food logs. When I send a message in plain language, extract the relevant details and write them into the right sheet. If you need to alter columns, formulas, or other sheet structure, stop first and ask me to approve the change. After logging entries, give me a weekly analysis against my goal of [goal], and design it so I can add sleep, mood, and a combined score later.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
