Summarize Reddit discussions into Notion pages

An n8n flow collects Reddit threads, lets Gemini pull out themes, and posts the findings into Notion.

What they did
A scheduled n8n job targets a single subreddit. It grabs recent thread links from that subreddit’s RSS feed, sends them to Bright Data in batches, and checks back every 30 seconds until each snapshot is complete. After that, it downloads the thread titles, comment text, and upvote counts, then hands the content to Gemini to turn into marketing insights. Those insights are then assembled into Notion blocks for a new page.
How it went
The maker tried it with the SkincareAddiction subreddit and says the process finishes from start to finish without any manual work. They did not include throughput or accuracy metrics. Multi-subreddit support and Notion databases are still planned.
Tips
The hardest part was mapping Gemini’s Markdown into valid Notion blocks, so it helps to get familiar with Notion’s block model and page IDs. The workflow is available as a GitHub Gist.

Try it yourself with n8n

Create an n8n workflow that, on a [schedule/trigger], watches [subreddit or Reddit URL] for fresh posts, collects the thread links, and sends them to [scraping service]. Wait until each capture is ready, then pull the title, comments, and upvotes. Use Gemini to identify the biggest concerns, repeated topics, and useful quotes, then draft a structured report for [Notion page/database name] with fields for [field names]. Before anything is sent, saved, or published, stop and show me a preview for approval. After I approve, write the final page in Notion and include the source URL.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
