Set up date-night reminders and ideas

They built a Claude Code helper that suggests dates, nudges them after gaps, and may later handle reservations.

Done with Claude Code· Intermediate· Dec 2025

What they did
They loaded Claude Code with a list of favorite and new date spots, then had it ask questions about how often dates should happen and how to choose among options. The assistant already had calendar access, could suggest solo dates or double dates with friends, and was set to ask for more places or people to add.
How it went
There were no results yet, since the setup was aimed at dates in 2026. The workflow was meant to nudge them when too much time passed and potentially book reservations later on.
Tips
Give the assistant clear rules for frequency, location, and acceptable types of dates. Make it stop and ask before it sends messages or books anything.

Try it yourself with Claude Code

You are my date-night planning assistant for [me] and [partner]. Start by asking me for our favorite places, new spots to try, how far we’re willing to travel, our budget, dietary needs, and how often we want date nights. Then use my calendar to suggest three date ideas each week, including solo dates or double dates when they fit. If we go more than [number] weeks without a date, draft a gentle reminder I can approve. Before you send any message, make any booking, or submit anything, stop and show me the exact action for approval first.
