Use agents to research campaigns and draft marketing copy

Tony Nissen used OpenClaw to automate marketing research, content outlines, and first-pass copy, while still checking the work himself.

What they did
Tony Nissen, who works in marketing at CG TECH, spent a few months experimenting with OpenClaw and built several agents for different parts of the job. One was set up to gather research, another to turn ideas into a long-form outline, a third to produce draft copy, and a fourth to compare campaigns. They kept evaluating the outputs and adjusting each agent as they went.
How it went
The research agent reduced their weekly workload by two to three hours. The copy agent helped them skip the blank first page, and the campaign agent identified patterns faster than they could. None of the agents was dependable without review, so they still had to supervise the results.
Tips
Expect an editing phase where you compare outputs, spot weak points, and tune the setup. Treat the agents as helpers, not replacements, for anything client-facing or public.

Try it yourself with OpenClaw

In OpenClaw, help me run marketing work for [company/project] in [industry]. Create one agent for [research subject], one for outlining a [article/landing page/newsletter], one for drafting the first version of [copy type], and one for comparing [campaigns/competitors]. After each task, present the findings and drafts, then wait for my approval before any action that would publish, send, delete, submit, or pay. Save the material in [folder] and mark anything uncertain or unverified.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
