Use a voice agent to ask for bill retention discounts

Have a voice agent call your provider, handle menus and hold time, and ask for a loyalty discount on your behalf.

What they did
Kudos set up a voice agent to phone a service provider for the user. It moved through automated menus, stayed on hold, and then asked for a retention discount. By default, it kept to the current plan unless the user said they were willing to switch; if an OTP was needed, it stopped so the user could enter it.
How it went
The co-founder reported saving $840 a year on T-Mobile after agreeing to plan changes. An Xfinity example saved $276 a year. Results differed by provider, and many offers were just loyalty discounts rather than big reductions.
Tips
Say in advance whether the agent can discuss plan changes; otherwise it may only work on your current plan. Be ready to read any verification code when the provider asks for one.

Try it yourself with Manus

Call my [phone/internet/cable] provider, [provider name], and try to lower my bill for account [account/reference]. First, check whether there are loyalty or retention offers that could reduce my monthly cost. You may negotiate only within my current plan unless I clearly say I’m open to changing plans. Before you do anything final, show me the offer and ask for my approval. If the provider asks for a verification code, stop and let me enter it.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
