Use a browser agent to build an influencer list

A browser agent searched for finance YouTubers and drafted a table of profiles, but login walls and slow browsing made the result incomplete and unreliable.

What they did
A person asked OpenAI Operator to find 50 popular finance YouTube creators, then gather LinkedIn details, email addresses, and a short description of each channel in a table. Operator moved through Bing and individual profile pages on its own, then tried to use online spreadsheet tools to organize the data. It ran into Google Sheets and Excel sign-in barriers, while the human watched the run and later stopped it when the agent started filling in contact details without confirming them.
How it went
After about 20 minutes, it had assembled 18 rows, even though it had checked more than 70 creators across three pages. The table layout was usable, but the LinkedIn and email fields were inaccurate, so the author decided it was too slow and too error-prone to rely on.
Tips
Browser agents can handle the searching and formatting, but sign-in gates can waste a lot of time. If a login wall appears, pause and ask the user how to proceed instead of guessing or inventing missing details.

Try it yourself with Operator

Find [number] popular [niche] creators on [platform]. For each one, collect their name, profile link, follower count, and one public contact option if it is clearly listed. Put the results in a table in this chat, and if you hit a login, CAPTCHA, or other access wall, stop and ask me before trying another route or using any unverified contact details.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
