Set up a morning digest of trending social posts

They used an agent to deliver daily trending posts from three social networks so they could use them as writing references.

Done with OpenClaw· Intermediate· Apr 2026

What they did
They connected OpenClaw to a service called socialcrawl, which uses one API key to pull data from more than 21 social platforms. Each morning, the agent sends them a digest of posts gaining traction on X, Threads, and LinkedIn from the last day, and they use those examples to guide their own posts.
How it went
Over the next week, they said their Threads posts reached 100K views and they picked up 200 followers. No results were shared for X or LinkedIn.
Tips
This works best as a benchmarking feed, not a copy-and-paste source. Since the service is self-built and self-promoted, treat the results as one person’s short-term report.

Try it yourself with OpenClaw

Each morning at [time], check X, Threads, and LinkedIn for posts from the last 24 hours that are trending in [my topic or niche]. Send me a digest with [number] items total, and for each one include the platform, a link, a one-sentence summary, and a short note on why it may be doing well. Before you send any post draft, saved list, or other irreversible action, pause and ask me to approve it. First, send a sample digest for today so I can review the format.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
