Set a price trigger for an Amazon item

Alexa for Shopping can watch an Amazon product and either alert you or buy it automatically when it reaches your target price.

What they did
The person opened Alexa for Shopping from the Amazon app or site, using the cursive A icon. On a product page, they gave it a target price, and Alexa then monitored that item. If Auto Buy was enabled, it could purchase the item with the default payment method; recurring orders were added to the cart on a schedule, then checked out manually.
How it went
The setup supports alerts, automatic buying, and scheduled repeat purchases, but it does not include a hands-on test or any reported savings. Auto Buy works only for Amazon-fulfilled items and needs Prime, and sponsored products may show up in recommendations.
Tips
Use caution with Auto Buy, since it can charge the default card once your price is reached. Amazon says you can cancel during the first 24 hours.

Try it yourself with Alexa+

Watch [product name or Amazon link] for a price of [target price] or less. First, show me the current price, seller, and whether it is Amazon-fulfilled. Then set an alert, but do not buy anything yet. If I ask to turn on automatic purchase, stop and ask me to confirm the item, the price, and the payment method before any order is placed.
