Route customer email replies into Freshdesk

An n8n automation screened inbox replies and created Freshdesk tickets only for messages that looked like real support cases.

Done with n8n· Intermediate

What they did
They built an n8n flow around a Gmail address set aside for responses to order-confirmation messages. Each email was checked by an AI step that decided whether it needed support attention. If it did, the workflow sent the message into Freshdesk rather than handing every reply to the help team.
How it went
That setup kept customer responses from piling up in a general info@ mailbox and stopped unrelated mail from entering the support queue. The builder said the first version took about 30 minutes, but they did not share any numbers for accuracy or message volume.
Tips
This kind of filter works best when the difference between a true support case and a casual reply is clear. Since the public description leaves out the exact logic, you will need to design your own rules and test them carefully.

Try it yourself with n8n

Set up an n8n workflow for [Gmail inbox] that watches for replies to our order-confirmation emails. Use an AI step to decide whether each message is a support request; if it is, create a ticket in Freshdesk with the sender’s email, any order number you can find, and the message text. If it is just a thank-you, auto-reply, or other non-support note, keep it out of the support queue. Before any step that would send, submit, delete, or otherwise make a lasting change, stop and ask me to confirm. Then run the flow on [2 sample emails] and show the outcome for each one.
