Research a newsletter idea and file it in Notion

Use Grok Bot to gather background on a topic from YouTube, the web, and X, then save the findings in a Notion backlog entry.

What they did
Wyndo set up a named Content Researcher bot in Grok Bot and loaded it with context about his newsletter, AI Maker. He connected Supadata for YouTube, along with X, Notion, and Tavily, then gave the bot a newsletter idea to investigate. The bot searched across those sources and wrote the findings into his Notion content backlog. He approved X and Notion when the bot prompted him to sign in during chat.
How it went
When he checked Notion, he found research material already waiting in the backlog instead of a blank idea card. He then reviewed the entry himself. He demonstrated the workflow live, but did not share any measured time savings.
Tips
The bot’s status view does not explain much when a job takes longer than expected. Also, X access relies on paid API funding, so confirm current pricing before setting it up.

Try it yourself with Grok Bot

I’m working on a newsletter called [newsletter name]. Research this idea: [idea]. Check YouTube, the open web, and X for what people are saying, useful sources, and any angles I could cover. Then create one new item in my Notion backlog at [database name] with a short summary, source links, and a suggested angle. If you need access to X or Notion, ask me to sign in and wait for my approval. Before you do anything irreversible, such as sending, deleting, or submitting an entry, show me the exact action and pause for my confirmation.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
