Log rental repairs and escalate urgent cases

Claude Code connected to TIDY’s MCP server to file tenant repair issues, notify a handyman, and route emergencies for approval.

What they did
In a vendor demo, the owner linked Claude Code with TIDY’s MCP server by using a free account and an API token. They entered tenant problems in plain English, and the agent turned them into maintenance records for the property. It then alerted the handyman, and when the disposal needed escalation it marked that issue urgent. In the emergency version, it sent the tenant the shutdown steps stored in the property notes, contacted a plumber, and asked the owner to approve the spend.
How it went
This was a scripted showcase rather than a deployed system. The post showed the requests being recorded, the handyman being notified, and a plumber being cleared for $500, but it did not give any measured outcome.
Tips
Test the workflow with a few sample tenant messages before relying on it. If you use TIDY to hire help, remember the 3.9% platform fee.

Try it yourself with Claude Code

I want a maintenance intake process for a set of rental units. Each time I paste a tenant report, pull out the unit, the problem, and the urgency, then save it in [tool or sheet] and draft a message for [handyman name]. Treat [examples of urgent issues] as urgent and flag them right away. Before you send anything, book anyone, remove anything, or submit anything, stop and wait for my approval. End after you’ve processed two test messages.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
