Have Claude browse your own feed for post ideas
A writer used Claude in Chrome to scan a logged-in X feed and surface a few possible blog angles from posts with strong engagement.
- What they did
- From Claude’s Dispatch feature, the writer sent one request telling Claude to open X, where they were already signed in, and look for a handful of posts worth covering. Claude launched Chrome, moved through the feed, checked engagement counts, and selected four candidates. It then drafted a possible angle for each one and paused to ask what to do next.
- How it went
- In about 90 seconds, it returned four story ideas with view and like totals. The writer still had to pick which one to pursue and decide whether the angle was any good. Anthropic describes the feature as a research preview, so trickier jobs may take another pass.
- Tips
- This works best when the site is already open and you know exactly what you want it to look for. Keep it on read-only tasks; browser control is slower than a built-in integration.
Try it yourself with Claude in Chrome
I’m already signed in to [site] in this browser. Please look for [specific item or topic] and gather 2-4 strong candidates that might be worth writing about. For each one, give me the link, the key numbers or signals I should notice, and a short angle I could use for a post about [topic]. Stop and ask before you do anything that would send, submit, delete, purchase, or change anything on the site.
