Find prospects from web pages and draft outreach

Claude in Chrome helped one creator gather sourced prospects from the web and prepare cold emails for review.

What they did
They stored campaign rules, counts, and a contact log in a CLAUDE.md file inside a project folder. Working in their logged-in Chrome session, Claude Code began with 2-3 starting pages, then moved through LinkedIn and company team pages to compile a list of targets backed by source links. It then opened ready-to-edit messages in the mail app, and they checked and sent each email while Claude recorded any Gmail replies.
How it went
The agent surfaced 25-30 prospects, with a source URL attached to each one. They sent around 20 emails and received 7 replies, some of which led to introductions. The process went from about 3 hours down to roughly 1.
Tips
Have the first outreach email written by hand before you let the agent draft the rest, so it has a real style example. Source links on every row help keep the personalized lines grounded in the page content.

I’m reaching out to [type of customer] with [product or service]. Start from these pages: [seed URLs]. Browse LinkedIn and related company pages to find [25-30] prospects who fit, and make a table with each person’s name, job title, company, source link, and one specific detail from the source. Use the first email below as the style guide, then draft a short email for every prospect. Do not send, submit, delete, or post anything until I review and explicitly approve each draft. First-email example: [paste your first email].

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
