Automate daily videos and form follow-ups in Make

A CTO used Make with Gemini to draft daily YouTube content, while another user routed Google Form leads into monday.com with automatic follow-ups.

What they did
One CTO built a Make scenario that a nightly scheduler would start. The flow asked Gemini for a video idea, sent that prompt to a video API, then used Gemini again to draft a title, with the goal of publishing to YouTube without manual work. In a separate setup, Amrit Dash connected Google Form submissions to monday.com and had Make trigger email or text follow-ups.
How it went
The YouTube version never made it all the way to launch. They ran into trouble with API keys and error handling, then replaced the build with Python. The form-to-CRM workflow is running at scale, with more than 600 automated processes, though it can become expensive at 1.5 to 2 million operations a month.
Tips
Keep the first version very small, especially if the workflow has many branches or retries. If the task involves posting, sending, or deleting, stop and review the draft before anything goes live.

Try it yourself with Make

Build a Make automation with two separate flows. First, every evening at [time], ask Gemini for a video concept about [topic], generate a draft title and short description, and save them to [Google Sheet/Doc] for my review. Then ask me to approve the draft before anything is uploaded or published. Second, when a Google Form called [form name] gets a new response, add the lead to [CRM or sheet] and prepare a follow-up email or text. Stop and wait for my approval before any message is sent or any record is finalized.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
