Ask Alexa+ to book a ride and price soccer tickets

Using Alexa+ on an Echo Show, a reviewer booked an Uber and had the assistant hunt for the lowest-priced soccer seats nearby.

What they did
Jason Del Rey tested the beta on an eight-inch Echo Show and gave requests out loud. To arrange the Uber, Alexa+ first asked for permission to connect to his Uber account. He then had it search a nearby stadium for the least expensive soccer tickets.
How it went
Both tasks succeeded. The ride was ordered without trouble, and the ticket search finished in about four minutes. He still wasn’t sure either one saved time compared with using a phone, and a sushi booking failed because the restaurant wasn’t on OpenTable.
Tips
If a service needs account access, expect an extra setup step before Alexa+ can act. Results also depend on whether the business uses the right booking platform.

Try it yourself with Alexa+

Using Alexa+, help me handle two things by voice. First, arrange an Uber between [pickup point] and [drop-off point] at [time], but pause before confirming and show me the fare. Second, check soccer ticket prices for [team or match] at [stadium or nearby city] on [date], list the lowest-cost choices with section and price, and stop for my approval before buying anything.
