Let ChatGPT Agent work through appointment booking sites
ChatGPT Agent can browse a booking site, compare openings, and wait for you before any final submit step.
- What they did
- A person asked ChatGPT Agent to handle an appointment booking task in a real browser. They began by opening agent mode in ChatGPT, then supplied either a booking link or directions to locate a provider, along with when they were free and a rule to halt before confirmation or personal data entry. The agent then clicked through calendars and slot lists, while the person stepped in for sign-ins, CAPTCHA checks, and the last personal or payment fields.
- How it went
- The post says this works for bookings such as dentists, car repairs, restaurant tables, classes, and property tours. It typically takes about five to thirty minutes to get through a site. The main limits are plan access and the need for the person to finish the booking themselves.
- Tips
- Use it for appointments where you want the browsing done for you, not for one-off tasks you can complete faster by hand. Make sure the agent is told to stop before any send, pay, or submit action.
Try it yourself with ChatGPT Agent
Help me book a [type of appointment] using [booking site URL], or find a suitable provider if I only give you the kind of service I need. My preferred window is [date and time range]. Move through the site, check available slots, and prepare the booking, but pause before any login, CAPTCHA, payment, personal-details entry, or final submission. Show me the chosen option and wait for my approval before you proceed.
Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
