Use an agent to watch Resy for dinner openings

Brian had Hermes scan Resy for tables at favorite NYC restaurants, then book one for date night, until the account was suspended for overuse.

What they did
Brian put Hermes to work inside a setup with Obsidian as the memory layer and Telegram as the front end. He aimed it at Resy so it would look for open reservations at a handful of New York City restaurants he liked and make the booking when a slot appeared. The agent kept polling on its own, and when it saw availability it hit the site repeatedly without any request limits.
How it went
It did find and reserve tables successfully. Then Resy suspended the account for hammering the service and violating its terms, and Brian only got it back once after several support appeals.
Tips
If you automate booking, slow the checks way down and avoid repeated refreshes when availability appears. Keep the final reservation step behind an approval prompt so the agent cannot commit on its own.

Try it yourself with Hermes Agent

Set [agent name] to look for available reservations at [restaurant names] in [location] for [group size] on [preferred days/times]. Check at a conservative pace, and never send more than one request every [number] minutes. If a table opens, tell me the details and wait for my approval before you make, submit, confirm, or cancel any reservation.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
