What they did
They installed the HR plugin in Claude Cowork and linked it to tools including DocuSign, Google Drive, Slack, and spreadsheets. Then they ran slash commands for offer drafting, onboarding, performance reviews, and policy lookup, each set up as a guided workflow. The agent produced drafts, checklists, and policy answers for a person to review before anything could be sent.
How it went
Policy lookup was the most dependable part of the setup. Compensation benchmarking was much less accurate: 61% of figures missed Ravio by more than 15%, and senior roles were too low by 50% to 80%, with one error hitting 83%.
Tips
Upload your own offer template before using the plugin. For senior pay bands, confirm the numbers with a dedicated benchmarking tool rather than relying on the default setup.

Show me every draft and answer first, and wait for my approval before you create calendar events, send messages, submit documents, or make any other irreversible change.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
