Use ChatGPT Agent to review your LinkedIn for income ideas

A Forbes contributor used ChatGPT agent mode to audit a LinkedIn profile and identify contacts and roles that could lead to speaking work.

What they did
Using a ChatGPT Plus account, they turned on agent mode and pointed it at a LinkedIn profile by URL. The agent opened a browser tab, moved through the profile section by section, and made suggestions for strengthening it. In a second run, they asked for 10 people in their network who might hire them to speak; the agent could only surface job titles until they logged in manually and let it browse their connections.
How it went
The profile check produced around 10 suggestions, including adding revenue figures to past roles. After the manual login, the agent returned 10 contacts plus a draft outreach message. No income had been generated yet, and the article notes that some sites may still block access with an 'I'm not a robot' step.
Tips
Treat the agent as a research helper, not a full replacement for account access. If you need anything sent, submitted, paid, or deleted, have it draft the step first and wait for your approval before proceeding.
