Use an agent to handle lead forms and download reports

A marketer had ChatGPT Agent try several sales and marketing tasks, including a gated HubSpot report and booking requests.

What they did
Victor Schmitt-Bush asked ChatGPT Agent to retrieve HubSpot’s 2025 State of Marketing report. The agent located the page, opened the form, entered the requested details, downloaded the file, and wrote a summary. He also tested it on restaurant reservations and an SE Ranking demo booking, and a colleague had to type in login details for one keyword-related task.
How it went
Out of five tests, the agent completed only two from start to finish. The HubSpot report worked, but Google blocked Gmail access, so it could not send the summary. The VICE booking took more than eight minutes, and Figmor could not be reserved online.
Tips
Check whether the task needs account access or email sending, since those steps may need a person to step in. For anything that could submit a form, book a table, or send a message, ask the agent to stop and wait for approval first.

Try it yourself with ChatGPT Agent

Open [page URL] and try to get [report/content] by completing the form with [name], [work email], and [company]. Before you click any final submit, stop and show me the filled form so I can approve it. After access is granted, extract the main points into [number] bullets, and tell me about any errors, blocks, or steps that needed my help.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
