Use an agent to revise text in small steps

A browser-based text review flow lets you ask an agent for line-by-line edits while keeping changes checked before they happen.

Done with Custom agent· Beginner

What they did
xo is a starter kit that begins when you paste a launch message into Claude Code or Codex, then the agent handles files on your machine. It stores memory in simple local files and only connects the tools you opt into. A Prose add-on from David Crespo opens your Markdown draft in the browser and lets you send questions or edit requests to the agent through a monitored link.
How it went
There are no published results or counts on the page. The kit’s own Prose version has not been released, so the current workflow still relies on chat, and the project is still said to be early and not fully tested.
Tips
Expect setup to consume usage limits; the page warns this can happen within about five hours, so you may need to pick up later. Also remember that cloud services receive whatever you share with them.

Try it yourself with Claude

I’m working on [type of text] and want help editing it without getting lost. I’ll paste a draft and then give brief instructions like “trim this,” “make it warmer,” or “clarify this paragraph.” Handle one change at a time, return the revised version, and pause after each step to ask whether I want another edit. Don’t send, publish, or remove anything until I explicitly approve it.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
