Track viral posts and deliver the best three overnight

A Grok Bot pulled social posts from X, TikTok, and Instagram, unified their metrics, and sent the strongest three to Telegram on a weekday run.

What they did
Using Grok Bot with the Apify plugin, they set up separate scrapers for X, TikTok, and Instagram. The bot surfaced each scraper’s engagement labels first, then turned the results into a single table, excluded posts newer than 24 hours, and scored the remainder by save rate. Because Instagram does not expose public saves, it used comments divided by likes there instead. A Composio-connected Telegram bot delivered the shortlist on a weekday schedule.
How it went
The scrape returned 150 posts overall. Of those, 128 were eligible for ranking; four were excluded for age and 18 were left out because the save-rate data could not be used. The final three picks came from X, with save rates between 2.5 and 2.7.
Tips
Ask the bot to reveal the field names from every source before you map or combine anything. If a platform reports saves differently, or not at all, verify the fallback metric so the ranking stays accurate.

Try it yourself with Grok Bot

Every [night/weekday], collect posts from [X, TikTok, and Instagram] for [keywords, hashtags, or accounts] in my niche. Show me the engagement fields each scraper returns, then merge the data into one table, remove anything published in the last 24 hours, and rank the rest by [save rate or another metric I choose]. If Instagram does not provide public saves, use [comments divided by likes] as the substitute. Before you send or publish anything, stop and ask for my approval. If I approve, send the top three results, with links and a brief note for each, to [Telegram or email] at [time] on [weekdays]. Do not delete, post, reply, or otherwise act on the content itself.
