Teach an agent your recorded workflow

They recorded a walkthrough, turned it into instructions, and had ChatGPT Agent repeat the process to make the same report.

What they did
The poster captured themselves doing the task in Loom and talked through why each action was necessary. They sent that recording to YouTube, then used Gemini 2.5 Pro to rewrite it as a step list. After pasting those steps into ChatGPT Agent, the agent worked in a virtual machine, stopped for Salesforce sign-in and a rotating authorization code, then generated a Salesforce report, compared the related account in Gong, pulled together the previous 7 days, and built the output in a Word file.
How it went
The agent produced the same end result as the poster’s manual version. They treated it as a useful shortcut for repeat reporting, although they were still testing whether the instructions were specific enough for a weekly forecast report.
Tips
A narrated recording helps most when it explains the reason behind each click, not just the click itself. You should still expect to handle login and multi-factor steps manually because the temporary session does not retain credentials.

I have a screen recording or transcript of me completing [task] in [tools/sites]. First, rewrite it into a clear numbered procedure I can review. Once I approve it, use those steps to carry out the task and create [final output] from [inputs]. Stop before any login, payment, submission, sending, or deletion step and ask me to take over those actions.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
