Set up an automated blog engine with review stops

OpenClaw searched for ideas, wrote articles, checked them, published them, and used analytics to guide the next round.

What they did
They used a scheduled OpenClaw agent that could work across the shell, filesystem, and APIs. It pulled topic candidates from GitHub Trending, Hacker News, Reddit, and RSS, then ranked them and fetched READMEs and related discussions for context. Claude wrote the article, validation steps decided whether it could move ahead, and the finished Astro site was rsynced to a Hetzner VPS, checked for health, sent to IndexNow, and distributed on Reddit and social. A weekly Umami pass was then used to shape future topic selection.
How it went
The pipeline says it has produced 38 posts, plus 136 answer pages and 8 tool pages. It reports about 4 to 5 minutes from topic choice to a live page, along with 64+ Copilot citations. When validation fails, publication is stopped and the item is only logged for later review.
Tips
Build the process gradually, with one stage at a time. Keep a hard approval step before any public action, including publishing, indexing, or sharing.

Try it yourself with OpenClaw

Build a content system for [site/topic] that can find ideas, collect source material, produce a draft, and run quality and fact checks before it is saved in [CMS/folder]. Begin with [number] topic ideas, then stop after each stage and ask me to approve the next step before anything is published, submitted to search engines, or shared publicly. Finish by giving me the draft titles and the source list for each one.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
