Set up a voice agent for round-the-clock support calls

Robin Delta used a voice agent to answer support calls, handle basic issues, and book appointments any time of day.

Done with Custom agent· Intermediate· Jun 2026

What they did
They opened ElevenAgents and started with the customer support template. After uploading the knowledge base, SOPs, and policies, they chose a voice and language, then connected Zendesk, Intercom, a calendar, and a CRM. Once live, the agent took calls on its own, answered FAQs, solved tier-1 issues, escalated tougher cases with full context, and booked appointments. It also used ExpressiveMode to pick up tone and calm callers down.
How it went
The setup provided 24/7 coverage in more than 70 languages and removed routine calls from the team’s workload. It was built and launched live in minutes after the documents were uploaded.
Tips
Have your help content, policies, and handoff rules ready before you start. Test a few calls first, and make sure anything that sends a message, books a slot, or escalates waits for your approval.

Try it yourself with Lindy

You are a support-call voice agent for [business name]. Use these materials as your source of truth: [help docs], [FAQs], [SOPs], and [policies]. Answer incoming calls, handle common tier-1 questions, book appointments on [calendar], and pass anything outside those rules to [person or team] with a short summary, caller details, and the full context. Match the caller’s tone, stay calm and clear, and use [languages if needed]. Before you send a message, confirm an appointment, transfer a call, or take any other irreversible action, pause and ask me to approve it first. Start with a few test calls and tell me what you would do before going live.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
