Set up a resume-based interview screen

A recruiter-facing agent reads a resume, asks tailored interview questions, and produces a first-pass evaluation for human review.

What they did
The builder wired together a hiring workflow in n8n. A recruiter can enter candidate details and upload a resume, which the system stores, turns into a unique interview link, and sends to an AI interviewer. The agent then reviews the resume, drafts role-specific questions, conducts the interview by voice, rates the answers, keeps the records, and sends notification emails using Supabase plus connected services.
How it went
The flow returns stored interview transcripts, AI notes, scores, and a compatibility check between the candidate and the job. The builder said it still needs stronger follow-up prompts, more reliable scoring, better grading rules, and tighter recruiter controls.
Tips
Use it as a screening aid, not a final decision-maker, and keep the hiring decision with a person. Test the rubric on real resumes before letting recruiters rely on the scores.

Act as a first-round interviewer for [job title] at [company]. I’ll provide a candidate resume and job priorities. Read the resume, ask one personalized question at a time, and tailor each next question to the candidate’s answers. After [8] questions, pause and ask for my approval before you send any message, submit any evaluation, or take any other irreversible action. Then give me a brief scorecard with strengths, concerns, and a hire/no-hire suggestion for human review. Resume: [paste resume]. Job priorities: [paste job priorities].

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
