Route repair leads automatically in n8n

An n8n flow sorted repair inquiries, stored them in Airtable, and answered customers right away while sending doubtful cases to a person.

Done with n8n· Intermediate· Oct 2026

What they did
They set up an n8n automation for a car repair intake form. When a submission came in, AI labeled the request, judged how urgent it looked, and wrote a short description before the workflow added the details to Airtable and sent an immediate response. If the AI could not decide confidently, the case was marked for manual review, and requests the shop could not handle were turned away with a polite automated message.
How it went
Processed requests appeared in the Airtable base with their current status and timestamps. The workflow handled routine replies on its own, but uncertain items stayed out of the auto-reply path.
Tips
Keep a human check for low-confidence cases so the system does not make bad calls. Use an approval pause before any message goes out or any record is finalized.

Try it yourself with n8n

Set up an n8n workflow for my [car repair intake form]. On each new submission, use AI to identify the [request category], estimate [urgency], and write a brief [summary], then save the details in my [Airtable base] and prepare an instant reply for the customer. If the request is not something I handle, send a polite refusal. If confidence is low, stop and flag it for me to review before any reply is sent or any action becomes final. Before the workflow can send messages, submit anything, delete anything, or charge anything, pause and ask for my approval.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
