Review weekly Slack legal questions

An in-house counsel is trying to have ChatGPT pull Terms of Use questions from a Slack channel each week.

Done with ChatGPT· Intermediate· Jul 2026

What they did
They are building a ChatGPT agent that checks the company’s #legal Slack channel on a weekly schedule. Its job is to find messages that raise Terms of Use questions and organize them into a breakdown a lawyer can use to keep the FAQ updated. They are still refining the instructions because the agent can also surface unrelated matters, including lease agreements.
How it went
The workflow was still hit-or-miss at the time of the post. It could mislabel other legal issues as Terms of Use topics, and the counsel was not yet convinced the time spent would pay off.
Tips
Narrow the scope as much as possible and expect to test and retune the instructions several times. Use a person to review the output before it drives any policy or FAQ updates.

Once a week, look through the messages in [Slack channel name] from the previous [7 days] and collect only the questions that relate to [specific legal topic, such as Terms of Use]. Organize the findings by topic or section, and include the person who posted each question, the date, a message link, and a brief note on what was asked. Do not send any Slack messages, delete anything, submit anything, or make changes; stop and ask me to approve before doing any irreversible action.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
