Make a benchmark collage in Canva with an agent

A user had ChatGPT Agent assemble benchmark screenshots in Canva, but it struggled with the interface and made a messy result after more than 75 minutes.

Done with ChatGPT Agent· Intermediate

What they did
They told ChatGPT Agent to fetch benchmark images from OpenAI’s announcement post and place them into a Canva collage with red boxes around the Agent’s columns. The first pass skipped Canva, so they tightened the instructions. They solved a CAPTCHA and signed into Canva themselves, then steered the agent away from drawing the charts in Python.
How it went
The whole task took more than 75 minutes and the final collage was rough. The agent had trouble moving and lining up images, and the red boxes were made in Python instead of Canva, which meant they could not be edited. A title element also cut into the layout, and they fixed that part by hand.
Tips
For simple Canva work, this agent may do better than for fiddly layouts. If you need editable design elements, be explicit about keeping everything inside the design tool.

Try it yourself with ChatGPT Agent

Open [Canva or another design tool] and make a one-page collage using [the screenshots/images I provide]. Arrange them in a neat [style] layout, add a title and brief labels, and mark [specific columns or sections] with red rectangles. Work for up to [20 minutes]. If the design tool is hard to use, stop and tell me what you changed and what still needs attention. Do not sign in to any new service, and before you send, delete, publish, or share anything, pause and ask me to approve it first.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
