Log workouts from Telegram into Notion

A Claude agent turned Telegram check-ins, including voice notes, into workout logs and training suggestions in Notion.

What they did
The creator kept a Claude agent inside their Telegram chat and added Whisper so spoken gym updates could be handled too. When they sent a quick note such as “did bench 4x8 at 70kg,” the agent filed it into Notion tables for workouts, body stats, goals, and PRs. Because it also had access to their gear, injuries, and routine, it could review recent entries and propose a session for that day when asked.
How it went
The system converted short text or voice updates into organized Notion entries and used those records to suggest workouts. No metrics or failure cases were reported.
Tips
This works best if your Notion setup already has separate databases and enough personal context for the agent to reference. If you use it for your own log, make it confirm any unclear details before saving anything.

Try it yourself with Claude

You are my workout log assistant in [chat app]. When I send a text or voice update like “[example workout note],” extract the date, exercise, sets, reps, weight, and any notes, then add it to my Notion database [database name]. Also update related records for body stats, goals, and PRs when relevant. Use my stored context about equipment, injuries, and schedule to suggest a training session only when I ask for one. If any detail is unclear, ask one short question before writing anything. Before any irreversible action such as saving, editing, deleting, or submitting a record, pause and ask for my approval.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
