Collect Marketplace listings and paste them into Sheets

A user asked Claude in Chrome to gather Facebook Marketplace listings and transfer them into Google Sheets, but permission dialogs kept interrupting the process.

What they did
They installed the Claude Code Chrome extension, switched on “Act without asking,” and gave it broad access in Chrome. Claude was able to move through Marketplace and then open Sheets, yet the browser kept reverting to step-by-step approval, so every page interaction and cell update needed a manual ok.
How it went
It never turned into a smooth unattended workflow. Facebook appeared to force repeated confirmations, and another commenter said they only got past it by clicking an “always allow” prompt at just the right time.
Tips
If you want to try the same setup, be ready for sites that override agent permissions. One commenter also said they had to relaunch Claude Code with the --chrome flag after changing settings.

Try it yourself with Claude in Chrome

In Claude in Chrome, check Facebook Marketplace in [city] for [item] priced below [price]. Open the first [20] relevant listings, then create a new Google Sheet and enter each listing’s title, price, location, and link. Stop before anything irreversible and ask me to approve before sending messages, submitting forms, deleting data, or making purchases. When the sheet is finished, show it to me and identify the top [3] deals.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
