Let OpenClaw coordinate email, meetings, and research

They set up OpenClaw with Gmail, Calendar, and Notion so it could sort mail, consolidate meetings, and divide a research assignment.

Done with OpenClawยท Intermediate

What they did
They gave OpenClaw access to Gmail, Google Calendar, and Notion and asked it to manage a client project. The agent categorized messages as urgent, review, or FYI, and it prepared reply drafts plus attachments for the urgent pile. It also found three separate meetings attached to one project, turned them into one, and issued the invitations. For a competitive analysis, it parcelled the work out to sub-agents covering research, financials, drafting, and charts.
How it went
The finished report arrived in 42 pages after six hours of work, compared with about two days by hand; the piece also mentions 40 pages in one place. At one point, the agent misread a source and inserted incorrect statistics.
Tips
This kind of setup still needs close human review, especially early on. Leave a clear checkpoint before any email is sent or calendar event is changed.

Try it yourself with OpenClaw

Give [agent name] access to my Gmail, Google Calendar, and Notion. Help me run [client/project name] by classifying incoming email into urgent, review, and FYI, preparing draft replies and collecting attachments for urgent items, and spotting meetings about [project] that should be combined. Also split the analysis on [topic] into separate workstreams for research, financials, drafting, and charts, then assemble the results in Notion. First show me any proposed email, calendar, or meeting changes and wait for my approval before you send, delete, submit, or update anything. Finish when the inbox is organized, the meeting changes are approved, and the Notion page is complete.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
