Let an agent turn browser edits into code

A designer changed a local site in the browser while a coding agent wrote the matching CSS updates into the codebase.

Done with Claude Codeยท Intermediate

What they did
They opened CSS Studio on a local project and linked it to an existing coding agent, using /studio in the project to connect. From there, they picked an element and either typed a request or used visual controls to change style, layout, text, and animation. The agent tracked those edits and applied them to the source files, while separate background tasks handled responsive versions.
How it went
In one example, padding and border-radius changes were written to Hero.css as two edits. The setup also showed that the tool works with HTML, CSS, Tailwind, or React, but it requires the user to bring their own coding agent.
Tips
Use it when you want to shape a page visually but still keep the code in sync. Build in a review step before any change that could affect live content, and confirm each update before moving on.

Try it yourself with Claude Code

Connect CSS Studio to my project at [local URL] and sync it with my coding agent. I want to adjust the design of [page or component] visually, using either the browser controls or short chat requests. After each change, write the update into [file or folder] using the existing code style, show me the diff, and pause for my approval before you continue to any change that could be irreversible, such as deleting content or submitting anything. Also handle any responsive variants in the background and report back when they are done.
