Check how long open roles have been live at target companies
An agent sampled jobs on five company boards and measured how long each posting had been open.
- What they did
- Using Company Jobs Finder, the agent opened each company’s Greenhouse board for Stripe, Airbnb, Figma, Databricks, and Anthropic. It pulled the public first-posted date for the first 25 roles listed on each board, then calculated the age of each listing. The tool does not require a key, and it can also narrow results by keyword, location, or remote status.
- How it went
- Figma stood out most: 21 of its 25 sampled jobs were at least 60 days old, and the median age was 269 days. Stripe had 7 such listings, Airbnb 8, Databricks 13, and Anthropic 9. Databricks also had the oldest posting in the sample at 1,031 days.
- Tips
- This method only covers the first 25 jobs in each board’s own order, so it is a spot check rather than a full audit. Reposted roles can look new again, so age alone does not prove a job is being left up indefinitely.
Try it yourself with Claude
For each company in [company names], open its public jobs board and review the first [25] open roles in the order shown. For each role, record the original posting date if it is available, calculate how many days old it is today, and mark whether it is older than [60] days. Return a table for each company with role name, posting date, age in days, and a yes/no flag for older than [60] days. Pause and ask me to approve before you send, submit, or save anything; if a posting date cannot be found, note that clearly and keep going.
Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
