Have Muse draft an iCloud skill for you
A screen-reader user got Muse to create an iCloud skill, but password handling and accessibility issues made it hard to use.
- What they did
- Taylor Arndt asked Meta Muse about setting up a connector for iCloud mail, and it seemed hesitant at first. Taylor then asked it to create an iCloud skill, and it generated one. Taylor was using VoiceOver in the browser and the Mac app, and Gmail was already linked.
- How it went
- Muse did produce an iCloud tool, but Taylor did not get the long-lived secure login they wanted. The setup still relied on an iCloud app password that would need to be typed in again for each session. Taylor also could not connect enough workplace tools, and VoiceOver made the interface harder to work through.
- Tips
- Before you rely on a generated connector, check whether it keeps credentials in the way you need. If you use assistive tech, try the full flow end to end so you can spot text-field and navigation problems early.

Help me build a reusable skill or script for [iCloud email/calendar/reminders/notes]. Start by proposing the safest design, then create the code in [folder or repo]. Use a read-only test first with a harmless action. Pause and ask for my confirmation before you store any login details, connect an account, send anything, remove anything, or submit anything. Add a short README with setup and run instructions, plus any accessibility tips that would help me use it.
