Build a call tool for restaurant reservations

They made a phone-calling tool so agents can ring restaurants and arrange table bookings, including giving a callback number during the call.

What they did
Jake built callforme.tel for MCP-based agents such as Claude and ChatGPT. The agent places the restaurant call, asks for the reservation, and can supply a callback number if the staff asks for one while the call is in progress. He also set up a fake pizza restaurant at (469) 770-7412 so people can try it without signing up.
How it went
No usage numbers or booking results were shared. The test number is free to use, but it is only for testing.
Tips
If you build something similar, make sure the agent can pause for your approval before any real booking is submitted. Test the call flow with a harmless number first so you can check how it handles callback requests.

Try it yourself with Claude Code

Help me design a small tool that lets an AI agent place phone calls to reserve a table. It should accept [restaurant name and phone number], [date], [time], [party size], and [callback number]. If the restaurant asks for a callback number during the call, provide [callback number] and continue the conversation. Before any real reservation is submitted, pause and show me the exact call script for approval. Then make one test call to [test number] and report what happened.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
