Use Devin for changelogs and issue-driven doc fixes

Neon’s docs team uses Devin for a weekly changelog and for repetitive docs updates tied to GitHub issues.

Done with Devin· Intermediate

What they did
They turned the weekly changelog into a Devin Playbook, then just ask Devin to prepare the version for that Friday. For docs issues, they give Devin a specific GitHub issue; it checks the code, identifies which docs need changes, and either opens a new PR or updates an existing one.
How it went
That let them clear out older docs issues without reviewing every one manually. Devin had trouble when tasks were too broad, and a large rename still needed more than 20 cleanup commits by hand.
Tips
Keep each job tightly defined and watch its progress yourself, since Devin could fail without asking follow-up questions. Use it for repetitive, bounded work rather than anything open-ended.

Try it yourself with Devin

In my docs repo at [path], prepare this week’s changelog using [source of changes] and match the structure in [example file]. Then review the GitHub issue at [issue URL] and make only the docs changes it calls for, using one branch per issue. Show me the planned diffs and pause for my approval before opening, sending, or submitting any pull request.
