Use Claude to sort rentals and book apartment tours

A property manager used Claude in Chrome with a custom database to answer routine questions and help schedule apartment tours.

What they did
At Wilbur Properties, which manages around 800 units, Jonathan Miradi got approval to test AI after pitching the idea in March. By July, the team was using Claude in Chrome for day-to-day property management tasks. Miradi also connected a database so Claude could look up answers and review managers’ calendars when setting up tours, and it would hand off to a human if it got stuck.
How it went
The setup was meant to reduce repetitive work, not replace property managers. Miradi also hoped to extend it to answering tenants and prospects through the company website. California’s Department of Real Estate says licensees still have to verify AI-generated information.
Tips
Keep a human fallback for anything the agent cannot confidently answer. Review any AI-produced details yourself before they go out, especially when tours, listings, or lease information is involved.

Try it yourself with Claude in Chrome

Use [Claude in Chrome] with access to [property database] and [manager calendar]. Find the vacant units at [property/building] and check open tour slots between [start date] and [end date]. Draft a reply to [prospect name] that offers three specific times, then stop and show me the draft, the unit details, and the available slots before you send anything, book the tour, or make any changes.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
