Use Claude in Chrome for forms and inbox cleanup

Claude in Chrome handled a Google Form and a Gmail sort, but it needed oversight and made a mistake on the third entry.

What they did
A developer put Claude for Chrome into “Act without asking” mode and had it work through a seven-field Google Form linked to a Google Sheet. The agent mapped out the steps and filed one registration for each Engineering employee. They also tried it on Gmail to clear newsletters and mark important mail.
How it went
The first two form submissions were accurate. On the third, it entered “Emily Wang” where it should have used “Emily Watson,” and the task ran for 50 minutes before the developer stopped it and finished the last two entries manually. The same form work would normally take about 10 minutes by hand, and the Gmail task was said to save 5–10 minutes.
Tips
If you use this for repetitive data entry, verify each submission as it goes; the screenshot refresh after every action can make it slower than a person. For inbox cleanup, keep the job limited to archive-and-star actions and review the message list before approval.

In Gmail, review messages from the past [number] days. Identify newsletters and promotional mail to archive, and point out any emails that seem time-sensitive or important, such as [examples]. Before you do anything, show me the sender list and how many messages fall into each group so I can approve the plan. Do not remove messages permanently or send any replies. After I approve, archive the chosen newsletters, star the important emails, and then summarize the changes briefly.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
