Use agents to publish social posts across many channels

Agents handled 220 social posts across 18 platforms over 39 days while a person watched the numbers and fill gaps by hand.

What they did
A document agent checked the company’s SNS Engagement Tracker and showed that, from Day 12 onward, AI agents had produced 220 posts with no human-written posts in the mix. The posting system worked every day and sent content out in parallel to several services, among them TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Reddit, Instagram, Bilibili, Xiaohongshu, and X, while people mainly reviewed the totals and spotted missing parts of the workflow.
How it went
By Day 40, 195 of the 220 posts had been verified as published, giving an 83% publish rate. The unreleased items were mostly stuck because of browser automation glitches or logins that had expired, and the team still was not systematically handling comments or replies at scale. They also did not yet have a completed AI cost tracker, so they could count output but not compute spend.
Tips
Set up a human approval step before publishing and keep a separate record for publish status and engagement. Expect login expirations and browser automation failures, and don’t assume the agent can manage replies without extra tooling.

Try it yourself with Zapier Agents

Take content from [source] and turn it into platform-specific drafts for [list of platforms]. Send every draft to me in [email or Slack] for review, and do not publish anything until I approve it. After each approved post goes live, save the platform, URL, date, and engagement details in [spreadsheet]. If a draft is not approved, a login breaks, or a browser action fails, stop and ask me what to do before going on.

Fill in the [brackets]. Agents can make mistakes, so review anything before it is sent, paid or deleted.
