Use a bot team to open draft pull requests

They chained six Grok bots to map issues, make small code edits, test them, review the diff, and open draft pull requests.

What they did
They set up a sequence of six Grok bots. One bot read the issue and narrowed the repo to the files and past pull requests that mattered, then passed along only that context. A second bot judged the task and risk, a builder made the smallest code change possible, a tester ran tests and checks and sent failures back, a reviewer looked for regressions and missing tests, and a final security bot checked secrets, auth, and dependencies before the draft pull request was opened.
How it went
They say the setup led to more than 1,000 pull requests. The workflow was designed to keep changes minimal and catch problems before anything was opened for review.
Tips
Keep each bot’s job narrow so it does not carry extra context. Make the last step stop at a draft pull request, with a human review before any merge or push to the main branch.

Try it yourself with Grok Bot

For my repo at [repo URL], set up a six-bot workflow. First, inspect [issue source] and identify the few files and past pull requests that are most relevant. Second, classify the task and its risk level so it can be routed. Third, make the smallest possible code change. Fourth, run [tests/lint/type checks/builds] and feed any failures back to the code-change step. Fifth, review the diff for regressions and missing tests. Sixth, check for secrets, auth issues, and dependency risks. After all checks pass, prepare a draft pull request with a short summary and the test results. Stop before any irreversible action: do not merge, do not push to the main branch, and do not submit anything except a draft PR for my approval.
